Educational content, not investment advice. Nour explains how markets work. She never tells you what to buy or sell.

KYC (Know Your Customer) is not the broker's invention: the FATF standard requires financial institutions to identify and verify customers with reliable, independent documents, and not to open the account if they cannot.

  • Four steps: registration, questionnaire, documents, review.
  • The questionnaire assesses whether complex products are appropriate for you — answer honestly.
  • Usually: a valid ID or passport plus a recent proof of address, often a selfie.
  • Complete verification before depositing, and use one matching name everywhere, including your payment method.
